Claudio Feijóo is a Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and an internationally recognised expert in digital transformation, technology governance, innovation and the geopolitics of emerging technologies.

He previously served as UPM’s Director for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and has extensive experience fostering technological cooperation between Europe and Asia, particularly China.

His work bridges academia, public policy and industry, with a particular focus on the socioeconomic impact of emerging technologies and AI. In 2026, he received the Casa Asia Award for his contributions to international innovation and cooperation.
